    Why this works

Ginger aids digestion because it stimulates the production of salivary enzymes which help break down the food and digest it. Bitter foods such as ginger increase the productivity of the digestive juices in the stomach and digestive enzymes in the intestine. Ginger also helps the gallbladder release bile which is an alkaline that helps break down fatty foods so they can be absorbed by the body. This ingredient also contain phenols which are acidic compounds that help reduce nausea and vomiting. The release of all these digestive juices and enzymes also get rid of stomach acids that cause nausea. Ginger helps your digestion, nausea and creates appetite.

Caution: Patients with high fever, bleeding conditions, ulcers, inflammatory skin diseases and blocked intestines should avoid consuming ginger.
